Relax and enjoy breastfeeding your child and reaching your breastfeeding goals, with our ongoing lactation support. Care is provided by lactation consultants experienced in supporting breastfeeding beyond the first few weeks postpartum and into childhood.

Reasons to see a Lactation Consultant may include (list not exhaustive)

• You are nursing a baby or toddler.
• You have had or are having, a less than ideal experience nursing.
• Someone has suggested you give your baby formula.
• You or your baby’s health care provider is concerned about your baby’s weight.
• You are supplementing your baby with formula or breast milk.
• You have twins, triplets or more.
• You are concerned about your milk supply, too much or too little.
• You are experiencing pain, damage or discomfort.
• You are experiencing plugged ducts, thrush or mastitis.
• You need to express milk regularly or are planning to return to work.
• You want to introduce bottle-feeding.
• You have worries about breastfeeding in public.
• You need or want to wean.
• You are just not sure if its going right, you hear yourself saying “breastfeeding is too hard” or you are feeling discouraged.

Please do not delay; problems tend to worsen without appropriate care.

Payment is required at time of visit for routine visits and time of booking for emergency visits.

Reimbursement insurance billing may be available for lactation services, fees may apply.

Lactation Fees Routine Visits:

Appointments are available Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm and Friday 9am to 12pm.

Lactation Fees Emergency Visits:

Emergency appointments are those out of regular hours. They may be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week depending on scheduling.
