A consult with a lactation specialist can put your mind to rest
Consultations can either be at our office location or in the comfort of your own home.
Consultations include (list not exhaustive)
Taking a full history for you and your baby
Assessment of your baby to see how much they weigh, how much they take during a breastfeed and how they nurse
How you can help your baby latch, find comfortable & effective positions that are easy for you to replicate
How breastfeeding works and what to expect from your breastfeeding baby
How to hand express or pump your milk. Planning for returning to work
Managing breastfeeding challenges like yeast, sore nipples, milk supply issues, low weight gain, jaundice or sleepy babies, engorgement, mastitis and plugged ducts.
Providing you with an easy to understand care plan and continued support via email, phone or text

Initial Consultations $120 for approx 2+ hours*
Follow up Consultations $60 per hour*
